I know this post won't be incredibly popular, but...
I'll just go ahead and come out and say it... it has always been the western part of the state against the eastern part of the state. To them, we have been and will always be "Imperial Cass". I'd say it's time to start living up to that name. This round of the legislative session the eastern portion of the state was getting the short end of the stick by the western legislators, since they know they now have a stool to stand on with the oil money coming into the western portion of the state.

We need to make sure we are sending the right kinds of people to Bismarck and also have enough lobbying power and representation for an area that has almost 1/3 of the state's population.

Business is business, and sometimes you've got to play rough to fight the Good O'le Boys Network in Bismarck, which is compromised of folks who think we need more carpenters and plumbers being trained in this state, than we do software engineers, biomedical researchers, chemists, engineers, etc...

DO NOT let the state hold us back.
