The intermodal port (basically railyards) in Dilworth simply doesn't cut it. We need a higher volume system capable of handling the products the city's businesses may produce in the future.

The city should look into development of a new intermodal port in the triangle of land surrounded by 19th Ave. N., I-29, and the existing railroad tracks. There's more than enough room to develop an extensive intermodal port, and it would already be connected to the industrial park. It would also be a short skip to Hector International Airport. The close proximity to the interstate also makes it ideal for trucking.
